    Hello!

Was using advanced ads to place footer ad codes from media.net.

Please advice on where to place the codes for <head> and <body> tags, using advanced ads.

    Thanks

    Hi dsk2121,

    Thanks for reaching out.

You will need to paste the code for the header tag into a new Advanced Ads ad unit with the ‘Plain text and code’ ad type and send this to a header placement (it’s the placement with the /head icon). Afterward, paste the second piece of code for the body tag into a new Advanced Ads ad unit with the ‘Plain text and code’ ad type and send this to that placement where you want the ad to show up.

Please ensure that you integrate both ad units into the pages where you want to show the ads.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi Henningaa

    Thank you for response.

Change the settings as per your advise. However, the ads are displaying under the top slider image of the homepage instead of the footer of the page. Any way to resolve this?

    Thanks!

    Hi dsk2121,

    Thanks for your answer.

On posts pages, the placement works as aspected so I assume you are using the after content placement which doesn’t work on your frontpage because it misses post “content”.

If you want this ad on this spot in articles and not on the front page I suggest using a display condition with the “general conditions” to remove it from the front page.

Additionally, there is the same ad code inside your “footer-callout-wrap” and some 403 errors in the developer console indicating that the ad can’t load there. I suggest investigating this to get the ad working in the footer.

You can e.g. try to make use of the manual placement and a widget if there is a widget space in your theme’s footer available.

    Best regards,
    Henning
