• Hi – I nearly cracked this nut an hour ago using the basis of this code copied from another WordPress topic

    <img src=”images/logo_aman.png” width=”200″ height=”76″ />
    <div style=”position:relative; left:20px;top: -54px; color:#900202; font-size:20px; font-weight:bold;width:140px; “/>The art is Sold</div>

    The issue is the “top: -54px” which is -745px in my case (the size of the image is 775px), keeps pushing down the rest of the content of the page leaving large expanses of white space – the size of 745px… so I added addition DIVs and it just has a knock on effect.

    Where I felt i had conquered the text over the image conundrum, it just created another issue for me which i do need assistance with… thanks in advance.

  • Hi Mandos, therre are a couple of options. You could download either Inkscape or GIMP (both free) and add the text over the image then save the combined graphic as a jpg or PNG file. Upload to your site and you are good to go.

    If you would rather use an online tool, check out Canva.com (also free and really easy to use

    Hi IT4Worship

    Thanks for the advice, but I have been doing this previously where I created the image (with copy) and exported from InDesign then saving this as a web image from Photoshop.

    Essentially I want the copy to stay live and not embedded in an image mainly for SEO reasons but also because I want the copy to stay live – I feel I’m cheating if everything is an image.

    So I really want to know how to do this properly… I feel I’m very close, apart from the content being pushed down the page. This is the only thing which is proving to be a barrier.
