Placing ads within the gallery.

Hello,
Great plugin. What I’m trying to do is place ads strategically within the gallery. Is there any way to change the link for an individual post?
One way I was thinking this could be accomplished is to add a “Default Link” option for posts with no featured image for the default image to go to.
