    That is the archive widget. You can’t change that particular widget directly without adding code, but the good news is that you probably don’t need to.

    In the Appearance menu, look for the “Widgets” submenu. Use that page to adjust the various sidebars. An HTML widget will allow you to make simple links and such to stick in along with those.

    ok, that’s very helpful indeed Samuel “Otto”. Thank you so much.

    I was able to get the word Archive to change to what I want. Now the only thing is for me to figure out where that “March 2018” link is cumming from and how to change that to my own link. I hear what you said about “You can’t change that particular widget directly without adding code” however, i think we might have a semantics issue. Because I was able to change the word “Archive” to exactly what I want.

    I dunno, i’ll keep poking around
