Places Widget is Not working
-
WP Places widget is not working at all.
I have rigorously followed the steps of creating my Google API according the information in the Google Help Forums.
I’ve enabled the following API’s:
Maps Embed API
Javascript API
Geolocation API
Places API
I ensured that my primary billing method is up to date and operational.
I’ve cleared my browsing data as well as website cache.
I’ve only generated two keys.I’ve chatted with Google support and have been made sure that there is absolutely no complications on their end, and nothing wrong with the API key.
However, I am still receiving the following error when I attempt to input the WP-Google Places Reviews: INVALID REQUEST: Please check that this widget has a Google Place ID set.
Now, if I go to my dashboard>Settings>Google Reviews, I am given the option to input my API key. Which has been tested multiple time to work both by Google and myself, yet I still receive the said error.
I have been at this for hours and really need this resolved. Any assistance would be appreciated.
