Is there any way to remove the “Place Your Ad” button on all the pages?

I have registration turned off and have a specific form (if you scroll down on https://fscbmwcca.com/classified/) to fill out.

So when a non-registered/non-logged in user clicks the button they get the username/password they get a message that says “Hi, You need to be a registered user to post Ads in this website. Please use the form below to login or click the link to register.”

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @fscbmwcca,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

The easiest thing to do would be to use some custom CSS to hide that button in AWPCP so it’s not available to click for your users.

Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with AWPCP in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of AWPCP: https://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-awpcp/

You’d just need to set the element to display: none once you find the right selector. That’s probably the quickest way to done.

Try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
