place skyscraper ad outside of the container div

I’m trying to place a skyscraper ad outside of the container div.

I tried adding it as a widget and then trying to position it using css, but the ad gets lost between and underneath divs.

Any thoughts on how I can get the skyscraper ad in the right place?

I am using shortcoder, so if there was a way to modify an existing ad spot, I can do that.
