    Hello,

Going live with an online store tomorrow and discovered today that when you click the place order button on the checkout page, it loops back to the checkout page and then after a few seconds an error message appears that says “Sorry, your session has expired. Return to shop”.The order confirmation comes through and the stock is reduced.

I’ve deactivated most of the plugins except WooCommerce and have reinstalled WordPress. Never had this problem before. Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’ve tried switching themes to Twenty Seventeen and it does the same.

    Howdy!

Can you check what you have set for the URL for the order received endpoint at **WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced** in the Page setup section.

    Thank you,

    Hi Shane,

I think I’ve found the problem… I did the site for a client who then decided to edit the Checkout page without consulting me and made a total mess of it. I’ve restored it back to what it should be and it seems to be working. I just need to run a few more tests.

Hopefully, my next reply will be to tell you that it’s all good!

    Cheers,

    Rob
