“Place Order” button on checkout page not working

    I integrated Paypal Plus and wanted to test in Sandbox mode. The Paypal Plus frame is showing up at the bottom of the checkout page but regardless of which payment option I choose, nothing happens when clicking on the “purchase now” button. When hovering over the hand appears and it seems clickable, but it is not reactive.
    I would need advice how to start troubleshooting this.
