Place order button not working

Had to disable the plugin, but when I designed the page I had two major problems:

1) Place order button was not doing anything
2) I was also using a plugin to be able to modify quantity of products. While the field was working to increase or decrease the #of products, it did not actually do anything in order to update the page and count the new price in.

Any thoughts what could be done?
