Place of breadcrumb and footer

For the first question, that’s a styling issue. I can’t give you an exact answer for it, but what I suggest you do is use the build in inspector in your web browser to play with the styling of the breadcrumb trail until it is aligned where you want it.

As for the second question, what do you mean by “it doesn’t work”? Breadcrumb NavXT should work most places on the page. Just note that it may produce incorrect results if there is a secondary loop on the page that modifies the $post variable (and does not restore $post to its original state).
