Place Name rather than Address

    Hi,

    I’ve just installed the free version to try out to decide on whether to get the pro, but have a question on adding Markers to maps. I’ve installed the 3 API’s as per the set up video (Maps JavaScript, Geocoding and Places) and all show on Google Console as being set up correctly, but when I search for a marker I can only search by address, and not place name. E.g. I’d want to add Buckingham Palace but I need to search for the address instead.

    Is this a limitation of the free version?

    Hi @troventrip,

    Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time.

    Our autocomplete module is configured to only make ‘address’ requests by default. Unfortunately, this is not something we support changing from within the settings area at this stage.

    With that being said, if you do require this for your project, we would be more than happy to help you with a few small changes to the way this initializes within our core code.
