I am working with FSE. I want to put a search block next to the menu. But when I go to the header block containing the menu and add the search block it just gives me another header with the search block in it.

  • Hi, @triplemaya
If you’re trying to add a search block next to the menu in the header block of your website, you are likely inserting the search block within the header block rather than alongside it. To add the search block next to the menu, you must locate the appropriate spot in your theme’s code and insert the search block code there. If you’re using a page builder, you can try using the columns option to place the search block next to the menu.
    Thank you.

Thanks. I am sure there is a way to do this with blocks. I really want to avoid code for the ease of updating and / or changing theme.

I had a look at columns, but I think you mean rows. Cannot see a way to make the menu into a row. I thought it would be a row already and I could add the search box to the row.

    It is simple.

    Put in a row block.

Put the navigation block into the row block.

Put the search block into the row block.
