    Hi,

    It seems to work fine for both cases at my end. It might be possible that plugin is conflicting on your setup. Could you please write nitesh[at]auctionplugin[dot]net?

    Yes, thank you. I will forward you admin login info as well to test.

    @ohn_6x6: I’m quite sure you mean well but please never offer login credentials on these forums.

    The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice. However, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting they won’t steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then the plugin author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    @esmi, Thank you but I didn’t send it via the forums. I sent it privately between me an the plugin author.

    That is not allowed here.

    @nitesh,

    I deactivated all plugins and switched over to default 2015 theme and this problem is still there. Please advise. I have not heard back from you.

    This problem is NOT resolved but the author will not communicate with me at all and I don’t know why. He asked for admin access, granted it privately and never heard from him again even after repeated attempts to reach him. This is poor support for someone trying to sell a PRO version upgrade. 1 Star from me and now I have to look for something else.

    Since email correspondence was missed, I have been coordinating with John now to get his problem solved. His post was a reminder about his query and the problem described by him in his first post is working on his site. Let us keep corresponding offline to see if you face any more problem.

    Also, PRO version upgrade is something users have to decide. There is no doubt that PRO has features and has been designed to minimize conflict which I tell to customers if they wish to consider upgrade.

    Regards,
    Nitesh

    @nitesh,

    Please don’t post publically that the problem is solved when it is clearly not. The problem is still there. I need to have bidders register first before they can bid. Your plugin has that option but it doesn’t work. All you did to “fix” my problem was disable the following setting:

    Allow users to bid:
    1. Only if they are logged in
    2. Without login as well

    If I enable the “Register First” setting, and they try to bid anyway, they get an Error 404 page – the original problem. They should be redirected to register instead.

    @john,

    I’ve specifically written what I have done and have also mentioned that I would work to see if there are any problems.

    Kindly have some gratitude on the way we are following up to understand about your problem. We might be on different pages but the way you are communicating is disheartening.

    Regarding your latest query, I have below question:

    1. Where is “Register First” Setting? Is it inside my plugin?

    I also realize that I need a step by step flow of what you are doing on your site. Please mention it so that we understand exactly what you are trying to do. You can send that info offline.

    Sorry if you are offended. I don’t like repeating myself over and over again. Also, you are trying to sell a product so criticism and customer service comes with that, correct? Your question about the step by step can be answered in the very first post on this thread in my screencast: https://screencast.com/t/O6mFDVGee6. Here I showed and discussed in full detail what the problem is.

    Here is a screenshot of the setting within your plugin: https://screencast.com/t/S8vvBgu7hSbC

    Your time is appreciated, know that.

    Hi John,

    I’m marking as resolved.
