‘Place bid’ button does not work

    Hi there! I’ve used your auction plugin before (2021) and LOVED using it. Yesterday I published another auction again, but when people want to place a bid nothing happens. The page keeps loading. Everything else works perfectly. I tried it in different browsers, but the problem appears in every browser. All my plugins, theme and WP site are up-to-date.

    Can you please help me out?

    Hello clmaglio,

    We have checked the issue on your site. When we tried to place a bid on the below auction, it displayed the console error, and the bid was not placed.

    It looks like you have used the Vandana Lite theme on your site. We have checked this issue on our server with the Vandana Lite theme. The bid was placed successfully without any issues. We are not able to reproduce this issue on our server.

    -> Have you customized the Ultimate WordPress Auction Plugin code? Let us know.

    -> It might be the case where this issue might be occurring due to JavaScript code conflict with some other plugin. Could you please do the following and let us know its result?

    Activate the auction plugin, then one by one, please deactivate other plugins installed on your website and see if this error goes away. When you find the plugin on whose deactivation, this error goes away, then please share with us the plugin name so that we can test ourselves and check the issue.

    -> It looks like you have displayed the auctions using the Elementor builder. We suggest you that please add the auction plugin shortcode without Elementor and check it. Create a new page like below, try to place a bid, and let us know the result.

    Create a new page -> Add shortcode “[wdm_auction_listing]” -> Publish it.

    Hi Nitesh,

    Thank you so much for your fast reply! What a great service.

    It’s fixed! I discovered a theme toolkitthat wasn’t updatet and that solved the problem.
