Place an order for manual invoicing afterwards

Hi guys,

so my client wants an web shop and we’ve proposed to use WooCommerce (ofc). The thing is that they aren’t interested in handling any transactions through the web shop.

Instead they would like WooCommerce to just send them an e-mail with the order and all the info on who placed it and they themselves will invoice the client through their own system.

Surely this must have been done before?

So my question is: Is there a Payment Gateway plugin (or similar) that will skip any payment step and just place an order and send it through e-mail? So instead of for example “Pay with PayPal” it would be just “You’ll be invoiced soon”.

Some of the invoice plugins I’ve found for WC does to much. I don’t want to send the invoices automagically. I just want an e-mail to be generated from WC to my client and they will handle everything with the customer themselves.
