    I need to sell two products for the price of the most expensive. in this case it would be two flavors of pizza

    each variation is a product ,. when the customer chooses, I need the price to be the value of the most expensive item in the combination.

    I thought about adding it manually and adding value in each variation, but the problem is that the two combinations reach almost 5,000 combinations, which would take a long time to configure

    (here in brazil we sell a pizza with two different flavors. Each pizza has a value and when choosing two flavors the purchase price is equal to the price of the most expensive flavor.)

    I understand that you’d like to offer variable products consisting of two components and the total price of the product should equal the price of the most expensive component.

    I see how specifying the price of 5k variations does not sound like a good option, although I’m not aware of a default way of handling this other than specifying the price of each variation.

    Even with plugins like Dynamic Pricing or Composite Products, this kind of functionality isn’t easy to achieve.

    The quickest way to achieve this kind of functionality is perhaps via code customization.

    Although you’d have to modify the code and include conditions where the price of two components is compared and the more expensive one is left while the cheaper price is removed.

    This is a reasonably complex development topic so I’ll leave this thread open in case someone else has better suggestions, but perhaps it’s worth sticking to 5000 variations. You can use the default exporter to export a variable product, open the file in Google Sheets, add all 5000 variations with prices and re-import.
