Pizza Delivery Mapping for Customers

Please describe more detail your request. Do you want to search a marker or an object on a map or maybe something else? And by what criterion should work the search option – getting into a specific area on a map or something else?

Okay….I will run this through as best as possible

One of the issues on a busy night is when a new customer calls and asks if we deliver to their street…and we really do not know. I would like to be able to redirect them to our website and to have then enter their address, or just their street name, to see if it’s in our delivery area.

So, my way to best explain how to accomplish this would be to:
1. Use Google Maps and setup a delivery border….not a radius but where you can draw the lines until the two points connect around our delivery area.
2. Now you would need a data entry piece on our website where this potential customer can enter for instance 123 Main street 15229; they would hit SEARCH; somehow through the map it would search within our delivery area to see IF their address range is in this stores delivery area.

To make such a function, we first need to know:
1) What determines the ability of delivery on the specific street?
2) Delivery is performed from one point or from several?
3) What kind of search result the user will see on the map?

For example:
– the user specifies the address,
– occurs map search of the nearest delivery point,
– if there is one – user will see the message “The delivery service can be done from this point.
