Pixelated thumbnails

    I’m embedding videos at a large size and the thumbnails are extremely blurry. The custom thumbnails that have been uploaded to YouTube are 1280 x 720 so they should be clean and crisp.

    Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere that will fix this? Do I need to buy the pro version to fix it?

    Please let me know ASAP – the site owner is very unhappy with how the videos look and I need to know whether this can be fixed, or if I need to find a different solution for video embeds instead!

    Rhonda,

    That preview image is not something YouTube allows us to control via the plugin. There’s no available API parameter that allows us to configure it.
