• Hi,

When i upload an image in the Koji theme for example as cover image, the thumbnail on the Home screen seems to be slightly pixelated or blurry, as if the reduction in size is messed up and causes issues. Same goes for images in galleries etc.

The images are of high quality and originally not pixelated.
If i upload the image in low resolution then the thumbnail looks good but the image in the post looks well.. very low resolution.

I cannot for the life of me figure out a solution. I have also noticed that on a macbook this problem is lesser. Could it simply be a screen resolution thing?

Anyone has an idea what i could do?/if i need to respect certain image sizes for upload? / If there is any way to upload the cover photo as 2 distinct pictures, one low-res for home page thumbnail and one high res for the full page cover in the post?

Thanks in advance to anyone thats willing to help

    Hi @iskander38,

Koji scales to fill entire width of the display, even on really large screens, and that can result in images looking low resolution if you’re viewing them on large external displays (or iMacs) with high-resolution screens. My external display is 27 inches with a retina resolution, and the images do look a bit pixelated when stretched to fill that when you view a single post.

You could simply upload really high-resolution images, but images with a width of 4000 pixels or more will be really heavy on the bandwidth. Koji also caps the thumbnail size at 1440 pixels, so you’d need to make changes in code to make images larger than that display in full resolution on single posts.
