Pixel Your Site

  • Hi, I have been using your plugin for years and with satisfaction on many sites. For this website now I have a problem. I activated Pixel Your Site to manage the Meta Pixel and I noticed that the Pixel Your Site plugin after a while disappeared from the site and then the Pixel disappeared as well. I contacted Pixel Your Site support and they told me that there is an incompatibility with your plugin and in fact once I deactivated it, Pixel Your Site works regularly. What could this be due to, can you give me any indication?

    Can you disable all the checkboxes except the “Cache System” option and clear all cache please?

    I did as suggested: the situation improved, in fact I thought it was solved, but it was not. 

    Previously Pixel Your Site would disappear after a few seconds/minutes, but now it stays active several hours, but then it still disappears. 

    When I turn my PC back on in the morning, the Pixel Your Site script is gone.

    Looking at the source code, this is the disappearing script:

    <script type=’application/javascript’  id=’pys-version-script’>console.log(‘PixelYourSite Free version 10.0.4’);</script>

    Then if I go into the site and clear the cache (both, all cache + cahce and minified), then the script reappears.

    For example, this morning I logged on and the script is gone, whereas last night it was there. I point out, however, that the script disappears only from the Home Page, while it remains present on the other pages.

    are you using another optimization plugin as well?

    Yes I also use Smush, but if I disable WP Fastest Cache and leave Smush on, the problem is solved.

    are you sure that you enabled only the “Cache System” option and clear all cache?

    Yes, the only peculiarity is that I had to put in a Timeout rule (All Cache Every 10 Hours) because otherwise the contact requests through the form (site made with DIVI) would not come anymore.

    The problem is caused by the WordPress nonce security system.

    Yes I know, that’s why I implemented the rule and in fact now the forms work. I reported it just to give all the details on how I set up Fastest Cache, in an attempt to figure out what causes the Pixel Your Site Script to disappear. Could it be due to the rule I had to set up? Or what could it depend on?

    The script should not disappear. Maybe the pixel plugin shows the script sometimes. and the page is cached when it does not appear, so the issue occurs.
