I have just updated the pixel on 2 websites. one is 4.74 the other is 4.8.1. After inserting my pixel code and saving If I go to leave the page, although it says “settings have been saved” a popup pops up when you go to leave and says your settings may not be saved leave stay.

Consequently I am unable to see where I can add scripts to individual pages/posts.

    Please advise what to do.

    Hello there,

The “Settings will not be saved” comes up anytime you leave a page with settings on it.
So his settings are saving, and you can dismiss that message.

As for the second part of your question, you are asking about adding “Conversion Pixels”. Those are the deprecated method, and you will not be adding them anymore. The new “Facebook Pixel” uses events instead.

You need to convert to using the new pixel, will no longer need to add “Conversion Pixels”. I urge you to go over this once: https://fatcatapps.com/migrate-new-facebook-pixel/

Also you cna switch back to the old plugin by clicking the link in the footer.

It says “Looking for the old Facebook Conversion Pixel? Click here to downgrade Version 4.8” at the very bottom of the page, in the WordPress footer.

    Regards,
