I recently started the process of integrating our woocommerce store with FB and IG. The initial sync worked fine and product were moved into the FB store. However there are issues with the available inventory and things are syncing on update.

Upon further research, I’m getting the following message and think it might be part of the issue. I have no idea how to fix it though.

“Pixel has low event source match rate – Some content_ids sent from pixel fires by this pixel do not match any catalog associated to the pixel, This could be because your catalogs aren’t up to date, or because the item IDs in your catalogs don’t match the content_ids in your pixel”

    Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

Also, it appears that the majority of our products don’t have SKU numbers associated with them or their variables. I’m guessing that might be what’s triggering the pixel issue which is also what’s causing the products not to update in the store?

    Hi there Will!

Pixel has low event source match rate – Some content_ids sent from pixel fires by this pixel do not match any catalog associated to the pixel, This could be because your catalogs aren’t up to date, or because the item IDs in your catalogs don’t match the content_ids in your pixel

We usually see that error message when the catalog hasn’t synced all the products on the WooCommerce store correctly. Sometimes that error can occur immediately after connecting the plugin and then navigating the site to trigger the events too, we usually ask users to give it 24 hours for Facebook to fully process the products if it’s a new connection, as the error then usually disappears.

If it’s not a new connection, the next step is to try and track down which product/content_id it’s complaining about and see what the sync status of that product is in the catalog or WooCommerce or both.
