Hi. I’m using this plugin to sync my woocommerce products with a Facebook catalog. Everything was working fine, I don’t know if via Pixel or other kind of feed but all the products were syncing with no problems, but yesterday I noticed that the Facebook catalog is not in sync anymore.

When I try to reconnect the plugin, I’m not able to use the pixel to update the catalog due, according to Facebook, to microdata missing. I spent the entire day looking into this issue and couldn’t find a solution anywhere.

    How can I fix this?

    Hi @luispedroferreira,

Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble reconnecting Facebook for WooCommerce with Facebook after your catalog was no longer in sync.

Could you please check if your Facebook pixel is working properly and to see if/when these events are firing properly? This Chrome extension created by Facebook will help you troubleshoot and validate your pixel set up.

Please let us know how that goes.

Sorry Niall, didn’t noticed you answered my question.

I have Pixel Helper installed and everything looks fine with Facebook Pixel installed, however I’m unable tu use it as Facebook catalog datasource. Business manager says that this pixel is not ready to use and I have to install microdata information. What is this microdata, and where can I “install” or add it on my woocommerce side?

    Thank you.

    Hi @luispedroferreira ,

The Microdata tag should automatically get added, and you don’t need to manually add it. It’s odd that you’re seeing this error though, Could you please try the following?

    – Take a backup of the site
    – Disconnect and delete the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin
    – Re-install a fresh copy of Facebook for WooCommerce, and try connecting again.

Do let us know how that goes and if you need any further help from us.
