I use the Pixabay plugin to easily get images to use in my content on several other sites. It adds a tab in the Add Media popup when editing a post and a quick access button next to the Add Media button. The tab loads an iframe (details below) with tools to find images.

On the forum site I just started, when I click the Pixabay button above the editor (or Add Media and switch to the Pixabay tab), I get a message saying “Cannot load bbpress-messages”.

One thing I notice is the Pixabay quick access button links to “/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=###&tab=pixabaytab#038;TB_iframe=1”, that iframe starts out as “https://ourfreesociety.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=414&tab=pixabaytab”, the quick access button’s iframe starts out as /wp-admin/media-upload.php?chromeless=1&post_id=###&tab=pixabaytab, and both get 302 redirected to “?page=bbpress-messages”, which ends up as “/wp-admin/media-upload.php?page=bbpress-messages”.

So it seems to me like there is a redirect issue. What can I do?

(Yes I just posted another issue a few minutes ago, which I thought was the cause, but I think that’s fixed now, no error_log errors, but still “Cannot load bbpress-messages”.)

    Hi Chris,

Thank you so much for pointing out this issue and providing all the above details. I fixed this bad admin behaviour and you should update to 2.0.3.

About the other thread, it’s alright, I believe it has to do with this redirect as it listens to all GET for tab and redirects.

Thanks again! let me know how it goes.

    Best,
    Samuel

Ah, what timing. Yes, just applied the update and Pixabay is working again.

    Thanks!
