Found a strange behavior. I’m running WordPress 4.4.1 with the current Piwik Plugin on a subdomain.

Loggin in into the piwik-site it tells me that no data have been collected yet, what is correct for a fresh install. Looking on the Stats of the Plugin it shows me the data of the first site which was added to piwik (another domain). And on the piwik-site the name of my first domain changed to the name of the subdomain. I have that site double-listed. One time without data and one time with the data of the first site.

After checking the generated html code i saw that the piwik script-code was not present. But it should, i used auto-configuration.

Ok, added the code the piwik-site gave me for that subdomain manually into the footer.php of the current theme (before the /body), but it changes nothing.

But now i can see the piwik-code in the generated html. Also deleting and re-installing the plugin changed nothing. I need to add the code manually.

I’m sure that somewhere a wrong site-id is set. But where? The generated html-code shows me the correct setSiteId

Have you any ideas what went wrong?

And why the script code was not set automatically like on the other two websites, i have no explanation.

could be resolved by editing the websites in piwik and de-installing and installing the plugin.
