Pirate Forms not sending email with Zerif Lite theme

    I’m using the Zerif Lite theme and I cannot seem to get the Pirate Forms to work with this theme. The email does not send, although the message “your email has been sent” appears on the webpage. I have SMTP enabled. I have also tried using the Post SMTP plugin. But nothing works. I used Pirate Forms with the Twenty Seventeen theme and it worked, but not with Zerif…
    I have checked all the folders in my inbox, nothing there.
    Does anybody know how to fix the issue?
