  • I also have exactly same problem from last few weeks.

    Array ( [0] => Array ( [date] => 2016-01-11 10:03:23 [act] => Error [msg] => -=ERROR=- Array ( [pgID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2016-01-11 09:03:18 [Error] => Something went wrong – Somethig is Wrong – Pinterest Returned Error 502 )

    Me too. Please fill out a Support ticket. Because Pinterest is premium, no support is given here and I think that this thread might be removed.

    Please see the answer in the FAQ – #5.1:

    I don’t think that is the problem. I can’t even retrieve the boards anymore. It happened on two different websites at the same time and I haven’t changed the content type.

    This is the error message:

    Array ( [pgID] => [isPosted] => 0 [pDate] => 2016-01-15 07:25:12 [Error] => Something went wrong - Somethig is Wrong - Pinterest Returned Error 502 )

    It is clearly some error in communication between plugin and Pinterest.

    Same analyse than @deadhippo: all my websites have error 502. I tried with differents configurations (with or without %URL%) but same result.

    Same problem here.

    Regards,

    Hey guys. I figured out the problem. Recently Pinterest redirected me to jp.pinterest.com because I live in Japan.

    I changed it in the settings to USA and it’s all working again on both sites.

    My guess is that the other people with the same issue as me are also accessing Pinterest from outside the US and being redirected to a regional subdomain.

    We are working on the issue. Will be fixed on Monday.

    You’re welcome.

    Recently Pinterest moved some international users to their national subdomains (like no.pinterest.com, jp.pinterest.com, de.pinterest.com, etc..).

    SNAP API 2.17.11 is now compatible with new changes.

    This should fix “Error 502” and “Could not retrieve boards” issues.

    If you are using WordPress your site should get the upgraded code with the next API update (2-4 hours). You can speed it up by double clicking the word “API” in the version number on the plugin settings page.
