Pinterest Posts no longer sharing blog text with Share this plugin

  • Weird. I’m noticing that if I do it from my main blog page where by posts are shown as snippets, that I also get this error when sharing through pinterest.

    But if I try sending it after clicking on the full post then it does show the description. Have you noticed that? Hopefully they’ll find a fix soon, but guess I’ll just go that route until they do.

    We’re having the same issue here (https://kosheronabudget.com — single posts only), but it’s pulling the meta description for the post.

    As we can check your website, it seems that you have deactivated the ShareThis Plugin. There is no ShareThis button present on your site.
    The Pinterest button present on your site is not the ShareThis button. Can you please check and provide us the exact URL of the page where you are facing the issue?

    We had to deactivate it and go a different route due to the permalink issue. But thanks.
