    Hello everyone,

I am using the Pinterest for woo commerce plug in. Everything was going smoothy until recently. I have been informed a few days ago by Pinterest that I will lose the verified merchant status in 30 days if I can’t solve the issue with the conversion!?!??

I contacted the Pinterest team but did not get any solution.

Indeed in the Pinterest business hub manager the tag status is “bad” and ask me to add a final checkout event: [Paiement final :Ajoutez un événement?Paiement final?qui se déclenche lorsqu’une personne achète un produit sur votre site]…It was ok until recently..I don’t get why this doesn’t trigger anymore.

Then I checked my WP back office and found this warning message: [?“Potential conflicting plugins?? ? ??The following installed plugin(s) can potentially cause problems with tracking: Google Tag Manager.?Remove conflicting plugins?or?manage tracking settings.”]

I dont’t think I will remove GTM for Pinterest but since I recently install it, it may be the origin of the pb.

what would be the best move here?

    Any ideas?

thanks a lot for your help

    Cheers

    Max

    Hi @maxeem70

Yes, there seems to be a potential conflict between Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Pinterest for the WooCommerce plugin. GTM might be interfering with tracking the final checkout event on Pinterest. This conflict could be interfering with the final checkout event tracking, which is why Pinterest is showing a “bad” tag status. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/pinterest-for-woocommerce/#section-19

A potential solution could be to adjust your tracking or tags settings within GTM to ensure they do not conflict with Pinterest for the WooCommerce plugin. You may need to look into setting up a separate tag within GTM specifically for Pinterest events, if you haven’t done so already. This could help to separate the tracking and avoid any conflicts.

If you’re still having issues after adjusting your GTM settings, I recommend reaching out to the developers of the Google Tag Manager plugin directly. They may be able to provide more specific guidance.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
