After last update I was prompted to re-authenticate. My account got disconnected apparently so I followed the on-boarding process. I got the option to connect a new catalog or catalog already connected, so I picked the second one. Anyways, it apparently created a new catalog and now it’s conflicting with the one I already have connected. I’m getting this error now. Would you please advise on how to proceed.

  • Hi,

I have updated to Version 1.4.9 this morning and the issues are still not resolved?

It has been over 2 weeks and a issue that was caused by your update has not been reversed/corrected?

Can you please update us on what is happening? My original ad feed is not being updated and I still have a new product feed which is unwanted. not to mention the backend warnings.

    HI, @fwitteam !

We are currently working on the problem with Pinterest. There is an issue with logic that no one has foreseen. Unfortunately, Pinterest can not manually fix the issue with your feed since it has promotions on it, but we have a plan that must work. We will prepare another release as soon as we have it tested, hopefully this week.

It’s so bad that even the new feed files have problems after a while, I don’t understand what’s going on, I’ve lost all the product data on the old battery accounts.

The old feed is corrupted and I need to remove it from Pinterest because Pinterest asked me to fix the problem, but I can’t delete or edit it, please guide

    Hello ducto333,

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please clarify what you mean by “new feed files have problems after a while“?
Are you also trying to delete a feed and facing the error “Pinterest for WooCommerce feed deletion failed”?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards.

I’m having problems with the new feed file, it doesn’t update after a few days and when I delete the web app and reinstall it, the corrupted feed file on pinterest isn’t deleted, it’s still there with a warning from pinterest

I personally haven’t got any problems on Pinterest side. But I haven’t mess with the plugin or anything, I haven’t even added or removed a product just in case it could mess something up. Both the new and old catalogs are correctly synced and no duplicates have been created AFAIK.

Welcome back! Thank you for the update. It’s good to know there hasn’t been a problem on the Pinterest side. Can you confirm you’re running the most recent version of the plugin (1.4.9) and the issue persists? (It’d make sense since our developers are still working on this one, as far as I know).

Are both catalogs still updating? What’s the last update date for each? Could you please share a more recent screenshot?

    Thanks!

Yes, the issue still persists. I’m running 1.4.9.

Seems like the previous catalog stopped being updated 10 days ago, but none of my products seem to have changed and I haven’t had issues with impressions.

Hello, currently if you want to delete the old feed, you must remove the old ads. I was forced to delete previous old ads, which had been running since 2023. In addition, after a few days of installing Pulgin, an error occurred that it could not be uploaded. When I tried to sync again, Plagin generated a new feed file different from the feed file currently connected on the battery. This is confusing. I hope you will deal with this problem, and just use a fixed feed file url instead of creating so many different feed files like that.

    Hello, @jaspix !

We have a ZIP file we would like you to try out. The fix does remove the new feed when you disconnect, so you will be left with the old feed in your Pinterest account, and attempts to reuse any existing feed from your Pinterest account when you reconnect and the feed URL matches your website. This way, the plugin will connect back to your old feed.

I must pass the archive to you somehow. Could you create a Support Request at woocommerce.com (you must have an account, I suppose)?

    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/contact-support/

I’ll be able to answer you with the ZIP file through our support system to the email you gave in your woocommerce.com account when submitting the request.

Hi, i’ve had a support ticket open with WooCommerce Support since the start of this thread. I am happy to try the file as that is exactly what I need.

I would like the newly created feed to be deleted and the plugin to connect to the old feed and start updating it again.

    Hi, @fwitteam and @jaspix !

Here is the file you could both try. It is still version 1.4.9, but with the fix.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aH_uEPjIWtR_cUOKDUmpkOhiuzutn14M/view?usp=share_link

Please disconnect using your current plugin and check the need feed has gone.
Update the plugin from the ZIP file that is available using the link above.
The old feed must get reactivated.
Check the feed link in the plugin vs the one at Pinterest, they must match.

In case (will it work or won’t), get back to me, and I’ll continue fixing it.

    Thank you!
