    If no other social counts reset, pin counts resetting to zero is due to a Pinterest bug, sadly. We’ve reported the issue to the Pinterest team, but they weren’t able to suggest a date where it may be fixed just yet. Sorry about that!

    Pinterest suggested signing up for a Pinterest business account and using the Analytics tool to gauge the reach and popularity of your pins. https://analytics.pinterest.com/ You can convert an existing personal Pinterest account to a business one by signing up for that Analytics tool if you wish.
