  • You can specify a different featured image that will be used for pinning but this is ultimately up to Pinterest and maybe they’re not detecting the image list properly. Could you provide a link to a page with the issue?

    Sure – take a look at this page: https://www.whatireallythink.net/eggplant-glut-eggplant-parm-lasagna/ – it automatically defaults to the first image. Other pin-it buttons I’ve seen allow the person pinning to choose which image they would like to pin. With yours, there doesn’t seem to be a choice.

    Yes that’s because all other plugins use the Pinterest JavaScript library, which makes exporting PinIt buttons easier but has the disadvantage of having to load an extra library which our plugin avoids (to reduce load times). I’ll look into this more and see if I find a solution.

    I looked into this more and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any way of selecting among multiple images for pin-it buttons without using their JavaScript library.
