Pingomatic problem…

  • Howdy all. Is anyone else having issues with Pingomatic? All of a sudden, I noticed that my blog isn’t pinging Pingomatic, even though I have always had https://rpc.pingomatic.com/ in the “update services” area. I’m wondering if I should ping the services manually instead (although I’d prefer to use Pingomatic, of course).
    I can manually ping via Pingomatic’s form but this is a pain. ??
    Just curious.

    I’ve had no problems with Ping-o-matic so far.

    I just realized this too.
    The site’s not being pinged unless I go to the pingomatic, or the other sites myself…. Furthermore, some aggregator sites aren’t being pinged by pingomatic – I have to go to their sites before I see myself listed.
    I’m very new to using weblog ping sites, but as far as I can tell it isn’t the orginal pings coming through, becuase of the time stamp.
    I just change my blog address and wordpress address to the same thing, maybe that will help?

    My WordPress and blog address have been the same since I’ve started, but changing them could have caused a momentary lag in ping-o-matic effectiveness.

    I mean that I changed one to the other, after I saw that pingomatic, wasn’t…
