pinging myself?

  • It seems to have picked up your HTML characters but displayed them as plain text.
    (I can’t believe what I posted in that thread earlier. LOL!)

    Still, it shouldn’t pickup a pingback from my own site should it? Maybe theres a way to edit wp-title to display something specific.

    It should. Back when trackbacks/pingbacks first became popular, people were excited about how they could use them to link related posts as well. Of course, these days we can do this in a far-more aesthetically pleasing way via plugins, but some (like me) still use the old method. As for the funny characters, those happen to me from time to time whether it’s an internal trackback or an external one. It just seems to be at random though.
