Pingbacks appearing in blog comments

Hi there.

I was wondering if anyone could help me?

When I create a link to an existing page on my website in a blog post, I’m notified of this in my comments, which also shows in my recent comments widget.

Is there are a way to disable pingbacks showing in the recent comments widget?

Any help would be much appreciated.
