Pingbacks?

    I’ve noticed that since using the Webmention plugin, pingbacks appear to be enabled for the posts and pages I create, even though pingbacks are disabled within the discussion settings of my site.

    Are pingbacks a requirement for Webmentions to work, or can I disable them on all my posts/pages?

    Answered my own question by accidentally disabling pingbacks.

    Yes, you need pingbacks turned on.
