    Hi @winkelr,

    Pingbacks use the inbuilt WordPress XML-RPC functionality. Whilst some customers choose to disable any access to the xmlrpc.php file, it is not restricted by Wordfence’s settings on installation so you shouldn’t see any negative effects in this area.
