    Greetings,

    I was hoping someone could help a newbie on configuring Ping-O-Matic’s links. I would like to drop a few links, yet can’t seem to.

    I’ve unchecked two links, but every time I return I find the box\link is checked. The last time I unchecked a box I received a message that “I just ping,” but I did not.

  • WP pings automatically pingomatic whenever you write a post. You don’t need to do anything. Unless you changed that setting.

    Whatever you want to change on the pingomatic website – is not this forum’s concern.

    Thanks Moshu,

    I never change anything at Ping-O-Matic, yet they have, for example, a check mark to ping yahoo and others I haven’t heard of and based on the advice on this forum, I don’t want to be pinging everyone.

    So, I wanted to delete some of them and I thought perhaps these might be the default settings for WordPress.

    I’ll try to get answer from them.
