Pinboard Theme – Read More etc

    Hello there – I just set up the Pinboard theme and if you go to the site
    bjavacoffee.com you will see the issue I am having ?? (perhaps)

    Under the Happy New Year post it only shows part of the post – which I would figure would have a ‘read more’ after it…but no. There is no such thing. You have to click the heading to go to the actual post.

    But. I want all the text to post there (there’s only about another 5 words that it cuts off but I want it to post all always).

    What I have tried is…changing it to ‘full text’ under the settings and even trying to find anything about ‘read more’ anyway in the theme.

    Is someone able to help me out and let me know how to make it so the whole post shows up there?

    And ya know, if anyone has a clue as to how to push over my twitter feed further to the right, I would appreciate that too.

    My brain is fried from trying to work this out.

    I found it – incase anyone else is looking, you have to change a line in your content.php

    it reads

    <?php the_excerpt(); ?>

    and you need to change it to

    <?php the_content(); ?>

    Thanks for sharing. I had been trying find an answer for two days.

    Thank you so much, mlocke! I just spent 2 hours trying to get that more-link to work. I’ve never had trouble with it in prior themes, but no matter what I did, it wouldn’t work. Now the posts on the home page look so much better.
