Pinboard theme – changing sidebars per page does not work

  • Hello out there,

    i try to add different sidebars to different pages using the pinboard theme and the plugin: Simple Page Sidebars. Unfortunately the sidebars only change if you use the standard template (default)- but I need a different sidebar on the blog template.

    I tried a lot but didn’t succeed – so has anybody out there an idea for me?? What function I need to add to the function.php of the theme and what I have to add to the template-blog.php

  • Hi there. Simple Page Sidebars isn’t really going to work that well with themes that define multiple sidebars. You might have more luck giving something like WooSidebars a try, or modifying the templates yourself if you’re comfortable doing that.

    I am new with WordPress. Making a website for official use. I am using pin board theme for that. I want to make different sidebar for different posts which will be a user friendly. I tried a lot but didn’t succeed. I used WooSidebars,customsidebar etc etc. But can not be possible.
    I have so many posts need to make different sidebars for that.
    so has anybody out there an idea for me please????
