I’ve been successfully using the Pin It button on my Headway Theme. Yesterday I installed Final Tiles Gallery plugin which supports its own Pin It button. I only use this tiles gallery on certain posts. When I published the post with Final Tiles Gallery, even though I disabled the JQuery Pin It button for this particular post, it still shows up on my images on the home page. There are no problems once I click into the post; Pin It button disappears.

The Tiles Gallery provides me with a code which I insert into posts, I tried including FinalTilesGallery description in the CSS disable area of the JQuery Pin It Settings but it’s still not working.

My post in question is via the link titled Weekly Finds Aug 4, if you hover over the pictures on home page, you’ll see the issue: https://beautypointofview.com/

Link for actual post where there are no issues: https://beautypointofview.com/weekly-finds-aug-4/

What am I missing? I don’t want the Jquery Pin It button on any post where I insert Final Tiles Gallery – homepage or actual post. Just can’t work it out. Thank you for your assistance

    Hi @sarah7sarah

the thing is, disabling the plugin on certain posts/pages works only when the visitor is viewing that item as a single post/page. Therefore the ‘Pin it’ button appears on your home page (it’s not a single post) and doesn’t appear in the post itself (https://beautypointofview.com/weekly-finds-aug-4/ <- a single post).

You can solve your issues by changing the image selector, so it won’t catch images that are added as a Final Tiles Gallery. Try the below image selector and let me know if it helped (you wouldn’t have to disable the plugin in each post with a gallery):

    div.jpibfi_container img:not(div.final-tiles-gallery img)
