Pimary Menu Hover colour

    I have this code

    #nav-main ul.sf-menu a:hover {
background: #6b97bf; color :#fff;
}

    The top level items work but sub items text colour does not change to white when hovered. I Have basic styling->primary colour set to nothing.

    Is there a way to fix this?
