pictures won’t center in kale theme

Hello,
I am currently using the Kale theme by LyraThemes and for whatever reason, my pictures will not center align. They used to work just fine when I first installed and activated the theme but now no matter what I do, the pictures won’t center even though in the editor they are centered.
This is true for my individual blog posts as well as actual pages (such as my ‘about’ page). The pictures won’t align center. I have reinstalled the current updated version of WordPress just in case, and all of my necessary plugins are up to date also. Can someone help me with this issue please?
