Pictures turning into Anti-Signs?

  • Question:

    Why are the images on my website turning into anti-signs?

    At first I thought it was just internet explorer that did it, but now Firefox is doing it too. I started saving images in Photoshop with ‘save for web’ to fix the issue, but it has arisen again, and is now worst.

    Please help.

    It seems that now it is only happening with IE. But sometimes it doesn’t, seemingly completely random. But it does happen with IE 95% of the time.

    Changing images from .jpg to .png doesn’t help either.

    So confused.

    What causes WordPress to transform images into anti-signs?
