Pictures size

  • Hello,

    I use tumblr importer to get a lot of pictures to the blog page of our website.
    It’s artistic content and it’s important for us to get large and beautiful pictures, but for now the transfer reduce and truncate it.
    So we would like to know if it could possible to extend the picture size ? The best would be the same configured width for all the pictures. is there any possibilities to do that ?

    All imported images are imported at their full and complete size, and then the normal WordPress functions to create reduced size versions will take effect. You can modify what sizes are created by WordPress on the Settings->Media page.

    When a single “image” post is imported from Tumblr, the resulting post in WordPress will contain the full sized image.

    When a “gallery” post is imported from Tumblr, a post containing all the pictures will be added, and the WordPress gallery functions will be used to display a gallery. The actual style and layout of the gallery is theme and plugin dependent.

    This didn’t work for me. I set thumbnails to be 800px in Settings->Media but posts all display a thumbnail instead of the image. Any ideas?

    You can click the thumb to view it but the page looks terrible.
