Pictures from old posts not showing up?

  • For the past several days, almost all of the pictures in my old posts (ie: not the new ones that I recently posted) don’t show the picture(s) that were in the post. It just shows a little question mark icon. If the pictures were linked to another site, it will still take you to that site. If the pictures were linked to a permalink (is that what’s it called) on my site, you get the error that “Access is Denied. You do not have permissions”.

    Please help!

    OK, I think I found the problem.

    When I go to Media Library and scroll through pictures, it basically is showing ALL my pictures older than a month or two as UNATTACHED, which means that it’s not attaching it to my post. Does this mean I have to manually go in and “attach” all the photos to the post they go with??? This would be horribly time consuming!!!!!!

    I have realized that all the affected pictures are all the pictures that were uploaded to posts BEFORE my migration to www.remarpro.com from wordpress.com back in January.

    These pictures are all in my Media Library as “unattached”. When I open a post to edit it, box with a question mark is in place of the picture. When I click on the question mark box to edit the “picture”, there is no permalink listed.

    Can anyone help?
