Pictures from existing library

Plugin is working perfectly if I upload new picture and insert it in a post.
But if I select picture from my Library (already uploaded and used in other posts) and insert it in a new post I have to set Featured Image manually.
Is it possible to enable this feature if old (existing) pictures is selected?
