Pictures aren't showing up correctly

    So I started off with Version 2.0.23 and once it was installed I started to see issues with gallery picture not being thumb nails, they were big. Also on the pages where I use another plugin called

    Slideshow Gallery

    I started to see this

    array(1) { [“source”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(24) “source should be present” } }

    Then where the slide show should be at
    Invalid Displayed Gallery

    I am assuming that since the Slideshow Gallery and Netgen use the same shortcode slideshow. When I drown graded to Version 1.19.13, it fixed the

    array(1) { [“source”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(24) “source should be present” } }

    And the the

    Invalid Displayed Gallery

    However, some of the galleries are showing the thumbnails but they are long and skinny. (https://jmtrj.org/gallery/cruise-2010/)

    Any idea what is going on?

  • First, you should trash useless plugins (if is a plugin) or code as the one for “don’t copy my stuff”. This can cause conflict and who wants to copy your stuff can do it anyway by browse your photo URLs, e.g.
    [URL removed by me because it has already been useful] and save the image from there. In addition, it prevents the site exploration with the browser tools, so you can’t have help in a forum.
    Anyway, you should deactivate all plugins but Nextgen to see if it works, then reactivate one by one to find the culprit.
    And that plugin, Slideshow Gallery, is really useful for you since Nextgen has slideshow too?

    The slide show gallery provides descriptions of the photos in the slide show where nextgen doesn’t. I see where you can create a description but that doesn’t show up anywhere. I will go ahead and disable all the plugins and see which one is causing an issue.

    That description show up in galleries when you navigate trough images with shutter effect e.g., and in slideshow if you activate “Show navigation bar”, but it’s good only for short descriptions.

    I have deactivated all the plugins but Next Gen and the photos are big in some of the galleries, and there is no option for a slide show. So it isn’t another plugin that is causing the issue.

    The one I see at cruise 2010 is good now, so please post a wrong one.
    Have you cleared the cache and refreshed pages when you have deactivated plugins?

    I have moved to a new network and another computer and the pictures are working now. So it is just a conflict with that Slide Show plugin and another one that was using a Jquery Java script as well. I removed that one as I didn’t use it anymore.

    I found that the Show navigation bar is only an option under flash.
