• Hi, when I put the image I want into the slideshow, it doesn’t show anything. I get

The image “https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/striking/includes/timthumb.php?src=https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/road.jpg&h=400&w=960&zc=1” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

However when I view the image here, it’s fine.

I looked at this thread and it didn’t help…

Is it something about timthumb permissions?

Please read up on the timthumb issue

Umm I host my own wordpress from www.remarpro.com… I don’t think it is infected

Are you the owner of etchicago where the image is hosted?

Yes I am. That’s why it’s weird… I setup the whole site and it gives me that error

If this is the first time you are using the timthumb script on this website then I would suggest contacting your hosting company because many (like hostgator for ie) need to whitelist your website for that script to run.

Also, you may as well not have the image width and height hard coded. I am sure that has nothing to do with this error but if you are resizing the image then why code it?

That’s the only other thing I can think of unless the timthumb code was altered in any way.
